It takes a few weeks to plan for a
proper paintball party. In addition to getting your
guest list together, you will also need to do much
of the following to insure a good time is had by
all.
-
Deposit, we recommend
that you reserve your equipment ahead of time by
paying a $10 per person refundable deposit, that can be made in person
with cash or check,
Credit Cards are not accepted at Paintball
Station. You may also pay the deposit by mail,
please send only a check or money order, do not mail cash.
Equipment is limited and rented on a first come,
first served bases, unless a reservation with
a deposit is made in advanced.
-
Expect some of your party not
to make it to the event.
We will apply your
deposit towards your final bill. Your deposit is
refunded in full if canceled at least 24 hours
in advanced of the day you where originally are
scheduled for.
-
Parents throwing a party
could ask kids to contribute, by purchasing
there own paint. For under $20, kids can buy
there own paintballs. Most kids will shoot less
than 500 rounds in a day. We have noticed that
kids are more likely to conserve there
ammunition when they had to pay for it!
-
Arrive early, it takes a
while to get checked in and get the orientation
process completed before anyone is allowed to play
paintball. When late players arrive, they also
have to be briefed, this takes time away from
playing on the field, while the refs are
orientating the new players, so please make sure
your party arrives on time...
-
Clothing should be Dark
in color or camouflage, loosely fitting, with a
"breathable" material. Do not overdress, or you
will overheat. We recommend that you dress in layers if you are
worried about rain or being cold. Extra layers
will also help to absorb some of the impact of
the paintball hit, and may make it hurt less.
-
Sturdy Shoes are also
very important. Something with ankle and arch
support is recommended. The terrain on the field
is rough in spots and players often fall, so be
prepared to get dirty!
-
Try to be flexible on which
day you plan your party on and be sure to check the weather conditions
a few days in advanced. If you are afraid that the weather is going to
be bad on the day you where originally are
scheduled for, then we will be
happy to reschedule your party for another day.
-
The park is open to the
general public on Saturday and Sunday, so
chose the day you plan your event carefully,
although it is easier to plan an event for a
Saturday, there are always more players on the
field with there own guns, and sometimes
private-party groups do not want to play with
the more experienced "walk-on" players. There are
generally more walk-on players on Saturday than
on Sunday, so if you wish to avoid the players
with "fast"
guns, plan your party on a Sunday if you can...
-
Paintball Station also welcomes
Private Party Groups on weekdays with at
least 10 Players, however prior arrangement must
be made at least 1 day in advanced. If you can
plan your event on a weekday, you can have the
whole field to yourselves.
-
Paintball Station also welcomes
Paintball and Airsoft Teams
with 10 players or more to schedule our field
for practice on
weekdays. Please Call or email for more details.
Please make sure you guest have:
-
Proper clothing. and footwear.
-
Signed Waiver form if under 18,
it must be signed by the parent or guardian.
-
a plan to eat, either bring food
for the party, or have your guest bring there
own lunch. We have a kitchen open at lunch time,
and we serve some hot food item, but we accept
cash only.
-
We recommend your guests also
bring cash for more paintballs or food if
necessary.
